sejak zaman degree lagi, kesukaan di university adalah a visit to the library. so on a friday afternoon, while all the men went for their friday prayers, i visited the library :)
the main point of the visit was to find for a few books to cuddle up during the weekend. i found two and i finished reading one last nite.. (so much for lasting me through the weekend la kan). and also i wanted to look up on books regarding my research. phase transformation to be exact. but i found none. despite them having endless rows of materials engineering books. fuh fuh fuh.
however, while looking for the books, i stumbled upon certain books that reminded me of certain people during those days when we did our FYPs. haha. how i wish i was still doing a research on MMC. there was a number of books regarding that topic, which i would have been super happy last year if i got hold of everyone of them. but yeah. i'm moving on to something else now :)
magnesium alloy = maizura :)
MMC = me!
i found interesting titled books along the way. haha. i just HAD to take a pic and share it with you. hehehe. lucky thing there wasn't anyone around to witness my crazyness. hahahaha :)
rock mechanics or earthquake engineering anyone??
the library is a three story building, and if you see the pic, you'd know how gayat i was climbing up those stairs. and they were convenient enough to put all of the reference books on the top floor. as well as the fiction books...
*sigh*
after picking out the books i wanted, it was then that i realize that it was a friday and that the staff was still on break. being the lazy me, i stayed up at the top floor, reading the book i planned on borrowing. as it turns out to be a very interesting book (which ended up with me finishing it up last night jugak. haish) - will tell more on the next post ait? :)
anyways. the library was a bit scary. so big and huge with endless rows of books (i've mentioned this already kan?) and yeah. there wasn't that many people around. a number of chinese kids. yeah.
now i've gotta start reading these books!
(i do have a 2 month borrowing period though. hehe)
this would be my mission for the weekend!
yeah!
xoxo
