Personal Astrological Reading

sometime this month, i randomly subscribed to this free personal astrological reading. and finally i received mine. i've not read it in detail yet, but just wanna share with you what i discovered so that we can read it together and come up with our own conclusion. haha.

Hello Shazlin,

I am really very impatient to announce to you everything that I have discovered about you while doing your personal astrological study, using all the personal details you sent me on the 1 January 2010. As a matter of fact I wanted to get back to you so quickly because I have some very good and very important news to announce to you. I have discovered that not only you are soon to live through an event of great astrological importance but also that you were going to blessed with a period of chance and opportunities. Even though we are now in a time of year that is very active astrologically with a great number of influential planetary movements because of the current Equinox, the movements in your personal configuration are set to be even more intense than this and you will be part of a very important period which I could even qualify as exceptionnal and very rare. There will be some very significant repercussions on your life.

Shazlin, I am now going to tell you what I have discovered about you. What I am now going to tell you is very important and of course I have checked and double-checked everything before telling you, and as a matter of fact I work in a cabinet with several other astrologers and I asked a few of them to check and confirm what I am about to tell you. So here is what is is all about: a very important Transit period is on the way for you and you are perfectly positioned to get the very best out of the opportunities it is set to bring. Indeed, in a very short time you will find yourself in the glare of several powerful astrological influences, I told you that this period is generally an intense astrological period but for you it will be different because the Transit which you will be living through will be a very powerful time with very decisive consequences in your life. As a matter of fact, these influences will place you in a rare astrological Transit which will not occur again in your skies before a very long time. This is a period of 30 days during which a great number of opportunities are going to be offered to you. These opportunities are going to have a great impact on your life and here is what comes out of my analysis:

During this period you can expect some very positive financial changes (woot woot!!) in your life. It seems that one very important opportunity will be made to you and this opportunity is linked to an unexpected sum of money. As a matter of fact your astral configuration shows me that this sum of money should allow you to finish a project (kawin? hahahahaha) which you have been thinking about for a long time. 3 main points stand out clearly:
  1. first of all, you must realize why this period is so important for you and this is simply because these 30 days are linked to a large sum of money
  2. it seems that this sum of money will help you with your projects, ambitions and investments
  3. at this stage of my analysis it is difficult to say exactly how you can get hold of this sum of money but it seems that it is linked to a notion of games or lottery (WTH?). You will certainly gain this sum when you least expect it and this will also be a moment when your natural chance and good luck are boosted to their maximum. This does indicate a win through a game of some sort.
This period will be very important for you on a whole range of different levels however as far as your love-life is concerned you can expect some great news and you will experience an intense joy! You are going to have the opportunity to reach a new turning point in your life, and you can expect changes in your relationship with this special person you have in mind. This will all happen in a number of different stages which will take place during these 30 days and it is very important that you know exactly how you should act to make the most of these moments. I must warn you however that you could encounter certain difficulties which may try to prevent you from establishing a relationship with this individual but don't worry, you will be able to overcome them. You just need to be aware of everything that is set to happen.

Shazlin, I must insist on the fact that this Transit is going to have an enormous influence and a great importance in your life. You need to be ready to seize all of the opportunities which are going to be open to you during this period as it represents a real chance in your life. For this, of course you need to have much more complementary information about many points, but let's proceed step-by-step because I think it is first indispensable to note that you will soon be living through a very important event in your life and then grasp all the necessary details about this event (where, how, what, when, with who...).

You are aware that you are living through a very interesting and exciting period in your life. I know that at the moment you ask yourself a number of difficult questions on many different levels and notably about certain people (or even one person in particular) because what counts for you is to attain the goals which you have set yourself and at this time one of your preoccupations is to know what you should do about this person who attracts you. Concerning all the other things which leap to my mind, I can see that deep inside of you (even if you are not fully aware of it, it is hidden away) remains the memory of an important relationship for you which did not work out. In a more general manner, in your relationships with other people, you are sensitive to other people's feelings, you often put other people's needs ahead of their own (especially those of their family and close friends) and yes, in general you get personal satisfaction from helping others.

I have also strongly felt that you are intuitive, you have an unusually strong intuition and being in touch with this power may be one of the reason why you are drawn to astrology readings. As a matter of fact, there is a very strong aura around you and an energy that is truly powerful. I am sensing vibrations from you much more intense than those I experience with most clients. I can also see a great deal of qualities in you and most notably you have a great deal of latent or unrealized potential. You are sometimes frustrated with the fact that others don't always recognize this or appreciate what you could offer but this is because you still did not had the time to show them but these things will soon change due to the important period which is ahead for you. As far as your character is concerned you feel torn between your desire not to commit yourself, your lust for freedom and your need to attach yourself to more solid bases. You know what you want, you do not like 'almost good enough' and this can make you difficult and exigent. Recently you have been energized by thoughts of exciting change but have not acted due to certain questions which you ask yourself. You want your life to reach a turning point and this will happen in a very short time.
Lets get back to this period Shazlin as I should warn you about one particular point. If you do not act in a very decisive manner concerning this period then it is extremely likely that all of these important opportunities will simply pass you by. I have often seen people miss out on key moments in their life simply because they don't know what they should do and when they should act and this is how I want to help you. I must remind you that this Transit is a very rare event which will not come around again for a very long time to come and it will allow you to seize some very important financial opportunities establish your relationship with this person. To achieve this it is important that you find yourself in the right place and at the right time to take the right decisions and this is what I want to help you to do.
Shazlin, I warn you in this way because the stakes concerning this period are too high. You need a professional to help you through this vitally important time in your life. This Transit is too significant and too important not to try and get all chances over on your side.
I must mention that I am not the only professional who could help you. You may of course consult with someone a little closer to your home or with an astrologer you are already familiar with. This person should be able to help you in exactly the same manner as I would be able to.
Of course as far as I am concerned I am also 100% ready to help you Shazlin. I have a wealth of important and exciting information to share with and I can give you full details on the following points:
I will determine for you all of the information which you will need concerning the financial developments which you can expect during this Transit and how this sum of money will change your life. I will tell you:
  • why this period is more important than any other period
  • what financial changes you can really expect
  • how this sum of money will come to you
  • how you can grab hold and keep it
  • and I will also give you a lot of other information which will help you to get all the chance over on your side so that you can make the most of this valuable opportunity
I will also let you know exactly how this Transit will influence your love-life :
  • which dates of this period will be the most intense
  • what kind of things will happen to bring you closer to this person
  • when you should act
  • what is going to change in your relationship to this person
  • which important turning point will be reached and why
  • how this person will react towards you
  • how you appear to this person
  • how your lives together could evolve over time and in the long-term
  • which elements may disturb your relationship

erm..yeah. very lengthy kan? yeah. i'm having a hard time reading it as well. sometimes some facts might be disturbingly true, but then you begin to wonder how true this facts are or are they just the same for everyone else with similar particulars (birthday, year, age etc). well, this is just for the thrill of it kan? i am curious though, regarding the TRANSIT period.

maybe, just maybe...
*wonders*

curious what yours might sound like?

one malaysia

everywhere everyone is talking about being ONE MALAYSIA. supposedly being proud for having a peaceful, multiracial and multicultural community.

moving as one and not separately

seriously, i think this is just all talk and not much action is taken into this. well maybe they are taking some actions but they're looking at it just partially and not as a whole. well, maybe not just yet.

i've been in USM engineering campus for almost 5 weeks (as of monday) and even though i've not started work in labs and classes and really getting to know the people here, but based on my observation (just a glance through), i really don't think the term "one malaysia" really goes about around here.

for example, during lunch or dinner, you will never see a group of people who isn't different, by that i mean color, race, religion, language etc. chinese will stick among themselves, malays as well. i've yet to see indians. not that many around. the sabahan and sarawakian stick to themselves as well. i knew i would be seeing a lot of these but i didn't expect it to be this bad. the room mates are given according to the students themselves, meaning they get to chose their own room mates, as predicted, chinese girls to a room, malays in a room and such.

back in my uni days, we weren't allowed such things. we have to have AT LEAST ONE non-muslim member and i think it was a wise thing to do for we all bonded and stick together despite being different physically and spiritually. we shared things, we laughed together, ate together, celebrated together. i remember during raya, we'd get raya cards more from the chinese girls, mandarin oranges during chinese new year and the delicious moon cakes! they'd love our kuih raya and all. it was all so very muhibah, like totally the definition of ONE MALAYSIA. when the chinese or indians have an event, we'd all dress up and go support them, joining on the fun despite not understanding the language, but hey, one can learn right?

a few days ago, they had a mini concert here and honestly i didn't see anyone but chinese there.

seriously, this is sad.

in the evenings, the basketball courts are dominated by the chinese, the sepak takraw, football and bola tampar is dominated by the malays. only this evening i saw a team of chinese and a team of malays played volleyball together. i'm guessing they were prepping themselves for the upcoming TOT (temasya olahraga tahunan) coming up in March. that was my first time actually witnessing different cultures playing in the same court!

yes!
it is THAT bad here.

a friend of mine once told me this. he used to play basketball, and yes he was good at it cause back in high school he used to play with the chinese guys (i really think the chinese dominte this game and for my friend back in high school, they welcomed him to play with them like he was apart of them). when he entered uni, of course you'd have to make friends and all. however, when he wanted to play bball, they (the chinese) wouldn't wanna let him play despite them acknowledging the fact that he was actually good. why? because he couldn't communicate in chinese (after such a long time playing with the chinese, he actually understood them!). but yes. maybe it would be a bit difficult but is it just because of that you're pushing away good talent, which could maybe, just maybe get your team to win?

another friend of mine told me that being from sabah or sarawak has its downside as well. since they are super super multiracial, some of them neither looks like a malay nor chinese, thus he was abandoned through out his studying years because neither the malay nor chinese would accept him into their group.

???????

back in my degree years, in class, we'd sit together like despite in groups, we'd still be around each other. but here, a friend of mine who has started her classes said that the chinese would sit right at the back of the class in a group. erm. i'm somehow unable to process this idea. i've been coming from surroundings where by we actually fight to sit up front and we do sit togather. all through out my schooling years as well as uni years, this is the first. i think.

well, i am yet to witness that one on my own. we'll just wait and see.
*sigh*

i guess dulu i didn't realize this that much, until i arrived here. how i seriously thank God i was educated as such way and not like what i'm witnessing now. seriously its sad

*sigh*

however, i do wonder if this happens only here or everywhere else? i'm quite sure where back home, we are very very muhibah. my surroundings as well. hello, my neighbors are chinese.

i wonder. i really really wonder.

anyways. i just wanted to share this thought of mine.
what do you think?
this is definitely something to ponder on.

Thaipussam eve

friday came and went as usual and i'm still counting the number of days i've been here, as usual.

anyways yesterday i had to attend a briefing regarding my fellowship. it was held at the main campus, penang. and so, i woke up very early (7am is super early for me ok?) and got ready for my trip to the island. upon my arrival i met a fellow mate whom i knew during the interview as well. he is currently my first usm post grad friend (someone not from unimap). sad eh? oh well. just you wait. i'll make tons when i start! pfft!

anyways the briefing started at 9ish. the hall was full. majority of the fellowship holders came from the main campus. there weren't that many of us from the engineering faculty. total fellowship holders this time around came up to 230 students, both masters and phd. this is the biggest amount yet, since USM being an APEX and all, supposedly wants to bring the university forward in the research field thus encouraging the students to pursue their research or something like that

we were given the prep talk where we were the selected ones to represent the university as an APEX uni at an international level and that we were the future leaders and we were the creme of the creme..bla bla bla.. i actually scoffed at that fact. the girl next to me just smiled to herself. hello, i've heard that line before. one too many times. pure nonsense. non the less, it still made me feel darn proud of myself. hahaha!

and so, the briefing which was scheduled to end at around noon, ended at 10ish. like wth la kan. kecian gila those kids from kelantan ok? they came all the way, naik bus for 8++ hours (i'm assuming) and arriving at the wee hours in the morning, and for what? to attend a 45min briefing. very whatever ok? but yes. attendance is compulsary. righ.

alang-alang berada di pulau pinang, i decided to go jalan-jalan cuci mata at gurney plaza (the only places i've been going around here would be gurney, queensbay, sunway carnival and... well that's about the only malls i know.yeah).

along the way, we went through quite a traffic due to the Thaipussam celebration tomorrow. so along the road that we went through, they were setting up their booths, i'm guessing all of the companies on the whole island participated, even including kastam and DAP, also i think there might be a competition for who has the best looking booth or something, cause they were all preparing to make theirs look the prettiest, along with huge huge speakers with indian music blasting away that shook my car.

thaipussam celebration
that was basically the highlight of the day. the rest of the day went by like a blur. shopping and eating. yes. fun fun favourite things :)

cam-whoring is a yes yes!

anyways, here are some pics and like i say, they tell you a story of its own :)

I can't go any further than this
I want you so bad, it's my only wish

Cool,
I spent my time just thinkin' thinkin' thinkin' bout you
Every single day, yes I'm really missin' missin' you
And all those things we use to, use to, use to, use to do
Hey girl, what's up, it use to used to be just me and you

Every single day, yes I'm really missin' missin' you
And all those things we use to, use to, use to, use to do
Hey girl what's up yo... what's up, what's up, what's up

Can you meet me halfway, right at the borderline
That's where I'm gonna wait, for you
I'll be lookin' out, night n'day
Took my heart to the limit, and this is where I'll stay
I can't go any further than this
I want you so bad it's my only wish

Girl, I travel round the world and even sail the seven seas
Across the universe I go to other galaxies
Just tell me where to go, just tell me where you wanna meet
I navigate myself myself to take me where you be
Cause girl I want I, I... I want you right now
I travel uptown
(town) I travel downtown
Wanna have you around
(round) like every single day
I love you alway, way
(I'll meet you halfway

Can you meet me half way)
Right at the borderline
That's where I'm gonna wait, for you
I'll be lookin' out, night n'day
Took my heart to the limit, and this is where I'll stay
I can't go any further than this
I want you so bad it's my only wish
I can't go any further than this
I want you so bad it's my only wish

Let's walk the bridge, to the other side
Just you and I

bike-shopping anyone?

thursday was quite an interesting day for me, all though it started off pretty dull. i was super duper lazy to get out of bed even thought i was awake at 8-ish. i refused to get up despite having things to do - grantt form to be filled and laundry. i think what my rummie said has a point. she went for this talk a few days back on time management and the presenter said:
"..you should write down the things you wanna get done (the next day) on the night before. write it down and put it somewhere you can see. automatically this sends an impulse to your brains preparing yourself to do those listed things for the next day and of course you'd wake up the next morning with a mission. then when you're done, scratch it out. when you do so, its like a victory to yourself that you've completed the mission.."
she has a point.

i don't have any current mission thus i have a hard time waking up
hmm.. maybe i should attend those talks. right? yeah.. when the time comes.....

so back to my interesting day.
i went for lunch (finally after taking my bath, cleaning up my personal space and yada yada yada..) and then on my way back, we decided to go "bike shopping". so we went hunting for the "perfect" bike. hahahaha. you must be wondering what i'm crapping about here right?

well, i was interested in buying a bicycle you see. despite having a car, riding a bicycle around here seems like an interesting and fun activity to do in the evenings. so, a lil bird told me that why waste rm200++ on a bike when you can just take and use those bikes for free. the key is to look for those without any tags or locks on them and they are allllll youurrrsssss :) :) :)

some might call it stealing but hey, its not owned by anyone currently so why leave it to rust there when i can make full use of it?? *grins*

and so, we went "shopping", after purchasing a tire pump and some locks. the thrilling part was to make it NOT look like we were stealing but as though we OWNED them. hahahahaha! looking left and right, making sure no one was around or looking, before grabbing the bikes and pumping air into the tires and stashing it away for "safe keeping" :) :) :)

jahat siaaallll!!! ahahahahhahah!

harini terasa buat kerja jahat

but we were laughing and sweating the whole time thinking of all the what-ifs conditions - what if it actually belonged to someone? what if someone asks us for the purchase receipt? what if someone asks where we got it from?

what if what if what if???

hahahahhahahaha.
our thoughts even wondered till the courtroom!
what if they ask us in the court...?
hahahahahahahaha (gelak guling guling)

*penat tau buat jahat today and gelak gelak. banyak guna energy ok?*

and so, we went up to our rooms to rest. as the evening came, i went for my jog (in my new pair of shoes~ *dancing on toes*) and went for a lil cycle. the first bike i rode wasn't that nice. it was too rusted. the second one was fine. the third one was even better.

still in the spirit of cycling, we decided to cycle out to the shop for dinner. its just outside the main gate so it wasn't that far. its been a while since i cycled. i was a bit wobbly wobbly and a bit scared entering the main road. but all in all it was all just fine :) all though when i reached back to college, my ankle began to ache and my knees were starting to give up on me. wth?? i'm ONLY 20~ (plus minus la..) and i'm having all these???
*sigh*
anyways. i had an awesome awesome day :)
(don't you dare burst my bubble! pfft!)
hope you had a lovely day as well :)
